Friends,

Env BW7.5 SP19 on Hana

ECC - Tcurr has 5 decimal places

We pull exchange rates from ECC - Tcurr table through RSIMPCURR.to a BW Standard DSO.

The DSO uses type Number and data type Float to store exchange rates. Here in the DSO the rates show as 2.7232000000000001E-01. (example)

The rates move to BPC Model as 7 digits as BPC technical key has 7 decimal places. We went for SP upgrade from 7.4 to 7.5, after the upgrade when the rates chain was run, it posted a value of 0.0000001 to all the prior period rates to make it 5 decimal places

I could not understand the logic behind it, when I raised a ticket with SAP, they came back saying using Float data type has caused this issue.

If I check in Hana for the same DSO, it shows 5 decimals places even before upgrade, does not show the big float numbers.

I am checking to see how do you pull rates in yoru system and the data type used
