EWA alert for SAP IQ through Solman

Hi Team,

Could you please confirm can we enable below two options for SAP IQ database through SOLMAN EWA report?

Note: SAP IQ  is a database server.

• BUSINESS process analysis
• DATA Volume management

Dear Customer, 

SAP IQ does not support IQ DB as a standalone product. The IQ DB needs to be connected to a managed system as described in SAP Note 2378876 - EarlyWatch Alert for SAP IQ Database. Once done some checks/sections for the IQ DB will appear in the EWA for the managed system.

For Business Process Analysis in the EWA report, KBA 2282310 - Business Key Figures for EWA report states the detailed information. The BPA process is available for ERP and S/4HANA system, and it is not available for Solution Manager.

For DATA Volume Management in EWA, please see prerequisites in Note 2036442 - EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) - Data Volume Management (DVM).

Just adding: According to Note 1257308 - FAQ: Using EarlyWatch Alert. the optional EWA content (not collected by default) for Business Key Figures and Data Volume Management (see above) reads business related data in the productive client, but collects only aggregated data on the amount of business objects and data volume footprint.  Both of the optional sections are not supported for the SAP IQ connected via DBCO as remote database as 2378876.
