Error while upgrading SP level through SUM Tool

Hi Experts,

We have Installed Solman 7.1 and a SRM 7.0 Ehp 2 system copy done through Export and Import in one server.

We have completed Solman configurations and added SRM system through MOPZ and generated Stack for SP level upgrade. But while running SUM tool getting an issue as below..

Can you please let me know what values we have to assign there..

Hi Experts,

As per your suggestions i have removed the old SUM and started from the scratch and removed spaces between the file name but still getting the issue as below.. It is not accepting the installation folder BS2011...

Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue...

Have you created a new stack file ?

Hi Reagan,

As per your suggestion we have generated a new stack file and downloaded all files.. But still getting the same issue..

Any suggestions on how to move forward will be greatly helpful...

If you are doing an SP update then the system should not prompt for DVD mount points.

I would try with a different SUM and if that doesn't help then raise an OSS.

Hi Reagan,

We have tried with different SUM Tool but still getting the same issue.. We have tried to provide path of Installation Media Exports,Upgrade Exports also.


Please find the attached MIDService.log.


Can you please help us how to move forward..

If you have downloaded any of the software from Marketplace to use in the 'DVD mount point' path, then check Notes 2054546, 1258173 and 1654937 on how to correctly 'build' the media disk from the downloaded files
