Hi Gurus,

when we are testing JCO Connection the error we are getting is

*com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFCERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)*_

i.e for SAP_R3_Financials we are getting this error, SAP_R3_Finalcials_MetaData the test was sucessful

with MetaData the connection is successful but comming to application data it is throwing error.

throw some light on this.

also when i am clicking the ess page i am getting 500 internal server error.

Note: SSO is working fine.

Hi Ganga & Koti Reddy,

i am able to login with user id and password into backend, user is not locked this user id and password is given when creating metadata Jco Connections.

there is no error when testing Joc connection which uses username and password.(i.e SAP_R3_Financials_metadata)

error i am getting, when i am testing Joc connections which uses ticket (like SAP_R3_Financials,SAP_R3_HumanResource) ,

also i am click on ESS role i am getting 500 internal server error

one more thing the status of every Jco destination is green in colour

Hi Naveen,

Please make sure that userid should be valid/exists in backend and portal system by which userid you are testing JCO destination.

Also verify that SSO logon ticket is valid or not.

Hope it will helps

Hi Naveen,

Do you have the same UserID in both portal and backend? Can you verify that SSO connection is working both way?

Dao

Naveen,

Plz follow steps given below:

a) Using SAP Logon pad, try to login with user id being used for model data configuration

b) If you are able to login; then create model data

c) test it once
