Error while importing data in SAC model via excel file

Hello SAC experts,

I am relevantly new to SAC and need help.

I created a blank model in SAC and created dimensions and measures. I am trying to import data using excel file into my data model. I run all the steps but getting the error (please see attached screenshots). Apparently it is a warning but no error but I don't see any data and it says 0 rows imported.

I think the error info clearly told you that there master doesn't exist. You need to mark the checkbox in import job setting to 'Upload local dimension with new members'.

Hi William, thanks for your comment. I checked the import settings and the check box is already selected.

Are these dimensions public or private?

These are public dimensions.

Ok, for public diemension, you first need to maintain the master data before you can import.

I see, so what I understood is that to build an empty model, first i need to create public dimension and then load those/maintain those dimensions first and then load the transaction data using excel file, please correct me if I am wrong ?
