Hi,

I am trying to connect to SAP Public Cloud system from eclipse via the connection url provided by the client which looks like thistridwip_0-1739775201873.png. I am using eclipse 2024-12(latest) version and it is showing "You have been successfully logged on

You can close this page and continue in the ABAP Development Tools." in the browser but in eclipse it is showing "Logon to the service instance has failed." Kindly suggest if any solution is there.

Hi @tridwip ,

Are you using Eclipse directly, or an Eclipse based on ABAP Development Tool (ADT)? They are different.

George

I have downloaded eclipse seperately and then went for "install new software" from help menu

Hi @tridwip ,

Did you follow the steps outlined here: https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#abap?

The reason I asked this is some steps might be missing in your installation so that ADT cannot connect to your system.

Regards,

George

Hi @George I have followed the guide link provided by you and downloaded eclipse again from "tools.hana.ondemand.com" as stated in the following link "https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/abap-install-adt.html" but am still facing the error. Please suggest.
