1. Please check and make sure, the database user that used for upgrade process has privilege assigned according to the guide : https://help.sap.com/doc/4e7c047f2c9e4cbe97800ffaf7b68f8e/10.0/en-US/B1_for_SAP_HANA_Admin_Guide.pdf
Please make sure the database user has BACKUP ADMIN and BACKUP OPERATOR privilege and then try again.
Granting Roles and Privileges to Database Users follow steps as below:
- In the SAP HANA studio, connect to your system as a superuser (for example, SYSTEM).
- In the Administration Console, under the Security folder of your system, under Users, double-click the database user, then details of the database user get displayed on the right.
- In the right panel, add required roles or privileges.
- To apply the changes, click (Deploy) or press F 8
2. Please backup and remove SBO-COMMON database, attempt to upgrade again.
Also, you can install or upgrade only the SLD components and company database as first step(but not repository), and then, perform the steps detailed in the SAP NOTE 1455344 - How to Recreate the SBO-COMMON Database in SAP Business One to re-create the repository.
