Error when generating the program /MERP/CORE_CPMS_APPCREATE_PROG in SE38

Hi on-call experts.

I'm encountering the following issue when trying to generate the app SAP&SAM_2205 using the program /MERP/CORE_CPMS_APPCREATE_PROG. 

I followed all the steps in the installation guide while configuring the program, filled in all the mandatory fields, but when I attempt to run the program, I get directed to a Short Dump, as shown in the image below:

When checking the error log in SMICM, I come across the following error:

Could someone help me solve this issue so that I can successfully generate the SSAM application?

It looks like from that error log that your backend system cannot connect to the Mobile Services endpoint.  Is it possible your network blocks outbound traffic from your backend system?  I would suggest you start by checking with your internal network folks about the connection error.

A ticket has already been opened with SAP to check if any firewall was blocking the connection on port 443, but even after SAP's resolution, the problem persisted. What else would be interesting to check? Could you guide me?
