I am trying to download EHP 4 for our ECC 6.0 system.
Going through the Maintenance Optimizer, I get to the 2.1 - Choose Stack phase without any problems.
At that point, if I click either the "Continue" or the "Find Download Files for the stack version" buttons, I get an error that says "System is not assigned to a host".
There is no long text for the error.
I have compared the system that is failing with two other systems that work. There is no significant difference that I can see in the SLD configurations. I have looked at the logs in smsy, and the automatic data capture logs in smsy indicate that the system definitions are being updated.
Has anyone seen something similar? If so, could you point me to a note or other documentation?

We had the DB & message servers set up in SMSY -> Systems -> <component> [...], but there's another section there too... go to SMSY -> System Components -> Java -> <SID> and make sure it's complete. In our case, we had to enter the dispatcher, port number, & database schema on the Header tab, and the J2EE-Server on the Instances tab, and then it re-ran MOPZ and it picked up the OS/Host information for the java stack.

Erika,
Unfortunately, no, we haven't been able to fix this yet.
I've confirmed that we have both a message server and database assigned, per Bob's suggestion, and we've looked at the notes sent by Anjali. SNOTE tells us that the notes which seem to be applicable cannot be applied.

Hello,
We are having a similar problem. Were you able to get past this error?
Thanks,
Erika

Please check whether you have assigned a message server or DB server for the system in System Landscape (t-code: SMSY).
Without assigning host, the calculation will be aborted.
