Error program EHS_WWI LABEL not registered

Dear SAP Community,

We have a issue with our WWI Label server and the reason is not yet known.

The issue is that the WWI service(EHS_WWI_LabelX/XXX/XX/XX) refuses to start. It attempts, errors out and then attempts again. The error says it is an Error 70, and if it’s not a Microsoft service, to reach out to the application vendor as shown below.

SAP Basis team mentioned server is running and was rebooted 2 times and it is checking in with the network.

Hello: was there any change on WWI level on this WWI server? a new WWI patch? If wwi is up and running: normally no such problem comes up. But e.g. Windows OS System change and othere reasons can change this. As mentioned by JuanCarlos: try to understand the System log Wish you the best C.B.

It might also be worth checking for error messages dev_rfc.trc

Hi Rohan,

When the WWI servers are running properly, you can see them as a "Registered program" in SMGW (Gateway Monitor).

My first recomendation is to login in the windows servers where are running the WWI servers and check the System Eveng Log, there you should find the cause of your problem.
