Error message : property of attribute ZZPRD_GRP of entity MATERIAL is missing

Hi All,

I had added a custom field ZZPRD_GRP to basic data of Material Master in MDGM and had transported it to quality system. But due to some reason I had to revert the changes and remove this field and move it to quality.

Everything worked well in development system but in Quality when ever i open the Change request to create material I am getting error as "property of attribute ZZPRD_GRP of entity MATERIAL is missing". But I have deleted that field.

In quality if I check the Data model for MM and check the "Visualize data Model" there the field doesnt exist. Even for SMT mapping the mapping which I had created earlier is now deleted in quality. Also the Feild in UIBB doesnt exists. still i am getting the error of "property of attribute ZZPRD_GRP of entity MATERIAL is missing".feild-missing-error-in-quality.png

But in development system such error is not coming.

I executed Report USMD_ADJUST_STAGING for both development and quality it didnt helped me.

I executed report USMD_DATA_MODEL for MM model in development and quality there i find a differnce for Material entity type.

In Development that new feild is not exist but in quality that feild exist.usmd-data-model-result-for-quality-system.png

Please let me know how to solve this issue for quality system.

Hello,

Please try clearing the meta data buffer. If it is still not working, please ask your basis team to restart the Quality system once. There could be buffer space which is causing this issue.

Hi Monali,

What about Generated Structures for Material Entity, did you re-activated that ?

Normally the steps that we have to follow are :-

Change the Entity,

Activate the entity,

Adjust the Staging Area

Generate the Structures

Delete the field from SMT Mapping & Activate it again.

Clear the UI Metadata Buffers & then check

we tried to activate the Data model MM in quality through debug and the issue got solved.And from the Report USMD_DATA_model that field had disappeared.

But after 4-5 days the same issue is comming. Surprisingly i didnt transported any TR for this module. i again check the report USMD_DATA_model there i can see the field and Active version of MM data model that feild exist but in Inactive data model that field doesnt exists.
