Hi Experts,

While executing tcode SLDAPICUST in ECC IDES i get message

System-dependent data for entry

/SLD/HTTP/PWD/ALIAS/XI changed: ID3 / TID

Where TID is my present system ID. Also I have never changed my system ID or installation number since installation.

I refered to note 816861 but could not solve the problem

We just had the same problem.

We solved it by deleting the SLD-entry with Message /SLD/HTTP/PWD/ALIAS/XI changed: ID3 / TID in Trx. SECSTORE.

After deleting this entry SLDAPICUST can be started without Message and also the short dump doesn't appear anymore.

Hope it helps!

Hi Umesh and rajesh,

It seems problem with your own certificates which is with SID ID3 which is actually , where there should be with your OWN system SID.

System PSE PROG <SYST>

  Own Certificate
  CN=ID3                                                                            01.01.2038

Do the below procedure to restore your own certificate,

1. Take backup of existing certificate

At STRUSTSSO2 double click in the certiicate under

Own Certificate

tab You'll see that the info under "Certificate" is populated -> Click the

Export certificate

button

2. Delete exisiting certificate which is with name ID3

Right click on "System PSE" (on the left hand side tool bar) and click on delete

3. Now generate new certificate with your system SID name.

Right click on "System PSE" (on the left hand side tool bar) and click on create

it will generate new certificate with your system SID name.

after generating new PSE run the report which i suggested earlier , where there should be now your system ID should be refelected.

Once done with above , now check the tcode SLDAPICUST is working or not.

========================

as well login to your SAP OS level with SIDADM and run the command

saplicense -get

share us what output you of above command

Thanks

Anil

Hi Anil,

Thanks a lot for such valuable information,

I have some queries before applying the solution.

I have taken the backup of existing certificate in both binary and ba64 format.

But if I delete it and create new as said by you, what all information i need to have other than my System SID.

Also is there a risk involed in deleting and creating new certificate ?

Also the output of command you asked for is :

saplicense -get

saplicense: HARDWARE KEY = C0547053704

Thanks.

Hi Umesh,

Also please tell me what these tables are important for?

This are the 2 tables which contain the information for SECURESTORE.

For your error ,i have scrolled down to lot of SAP notes, but which does'nt give much info abt this error.

Pls do the following steps.

1. Run report RSECADMIN

2. execute report as it is.( check what is a output.

Restart the application and check whether you are able to acces the tcode :- SLDAPICUST.

Some time buffer not get updated related to SECURESTORE , due to which restart is a best option.

Even if above does'nt resolve your problem , pls send me output of

saplicense -show

Thanks

Hi Anil,

Thanks for doing such a hard stuff for my problem.

I have executed the report said by you.

Hi Umesh,

Did you get the solution?

we are working on the ml81n and if we save the data we are getting dump "CX_SLD_API_EXCEPTION"

How to correct the error

If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

find an interim solution in an SAP Note.

If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following

keywords:

"UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_SLD_API_EXCEPTION"

"CL_SLD_ACCESSOR===============CP" or "CL_SLD_ACCESSOR===============CM00Y"

"GET_ACCESS_DATA"

This is the error we are getting.Even i get the same error "/SLD/HTTP/PWD/ALIAS/XI changed: ID3 / IDS" when i go to sldapicust.

My system is windows 2008 IDES EHP4 Ready system.

Thanks

Hi Umesh,

Now we are on target.

It seems some problem in securestore of IDES provided by SAP.

The only solution for now is that you have to migrate the SID ID3 to TID by taking migration key from SAP.

Migration can be done by using tcode :- SECSTORE i.e as per te SAP present in the error.

Thanks

Hi Anil,

When i try to generate migration key , it asks for old installation number and old system ID

So should i enter ID3 in old system ID or leave it blank as it says if System ID is not changed leave it blank.

Also the system is in use from last 2 months by developers and functional people so if i will do the migration is there any risk of data loss or system inconsistensies.

Thanks

Hi ,

Generally it should not effect the system, but on the safer side take the backup which will help if any diaster happens.

Select old system id as ID3

Thanks

Hi Anil

Thanks for the suggestion.

But if i put ID3 as old system ID and try to generate migration key it asks for old installation number .

So here should I put my current installation number or should i leave the space of ol system ID blank and generate the key

Thanks

Hi Umesh,

Seems some entires are there realted to ID3 in you system , due to which you are getting error.

Can you check the below steps as per the SAP note :- which will give some idea to us.

Use Transaction SECSTORE (SAP_BASIS Release 7.00 or higher) or report SECSTORE_CLEANUP (SAP_BASIS Release 6.40 or lower) to do this. Execute the transaction (report) without further restrictions, and check the result.
If you do not find an entry with error message SECSTORE 031, a migration is not necessary.

i am aware that you have not done migration , you have done the fresh installtion .

But , by the above report we will get idea about SECSTORE consistance information.

Thanks

Hi Anil

I executed SECSTORE but there i found many errors of type :

ID of record in secure memory Message text

/ICF/09IP4FHKEUCT58Z2MBMUJCOE3 System-dependent data for entry /ICF/09IP4FHKEUCT58Z2MBMUJCOE3 changed: ID3 / TID ?

/ICF/14A0PSUIQRXQSBXACKVU1YGQK System-dependent data for entry /ICF/14A0PSUIQRXQSBXACKVU1YGQK changed: ID3 / TID ?

When i click on ? it tells me to see note 816861 i.e:

"System-dependent data for entry /ICF/1TIQY7YE431UJ9V5ET0UXCS3G changed: ID3 / TID

Message no. SECSTORE031

Diagnosis

When accessing the secure storage, the system detected that system-dependent data (installation number or system ID) had been changed.

Entry data: ID3

Current system data: TID

If you receive this message during a migration process, the "Current system data" field contains the old specified system data instead of the current system data.

The content of both fields can also be empty, if the system cannot determine the data in the current context.

System Response

It is no longer possible to access entries that were created with the previous data.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administration

For more information, see SAP Note 816861.

Hi Umesh,

There could be someting (i.e java system SLD ) information mantained in SLDAPICUST.

Provide the patch detail of that which is mantained in SLDAPICUST.

goto through below link which will give you some idea about SLD

Hello my friend

Here's the checklist:

1. What system is this one, PI 7.0? What's the SID?

2. Is RZ70 running ok, any errors?

3. Please post SLDCHECK result.

Thanks,

Effan

Hi

Thanks for the Reply

1)This is not PI 7.0 system.

2)It is ECC 6.0/NW7.01 AS ABAP system.

3)Rz70 tcode is working fine,

what should i check through it?

4)SLDCHECK is faining with error:

"Runtime Errors UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION

Except. CX_SLD_API_EXCEPTION

Date and Time 10.02.2010 11:05:11

Short text

An exception occurred that was not caught.

What happened?

The exception 'CX_SLD_API_EXCEPTION' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere

along

the call hierarchy.

Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not

adequately responded to, the running ABAP program

'CL_SLD_ACCESSOR===============CP' has to be

terminated.

Error analysis

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SLD_API_EXCEPTION', was not

caught in

procedure "GET_ACCESS_DATA" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING

clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

exception would occur, the current program is terminated.

The reason for the exception is:

Internal error in method"
