Error connecting to system using ADT on eclipse

Hello everyone,

I am trying to connect to a customer system using Eclipse to develop but I get an error during the logon. When I try to connect the following error pops up: Logon to system <SID> failed (partner 'IP:sapgw00' not reached). I have tried to telnet the ip on the port and it responds correctly. I have tried to search online for anyone with the same problem but nothing worked for us. I am out of ideas on what could be the problem I even checked the SICF service /sap/bc/adt was on.

Can you help me?

I'll attach the log file with the errors generated during the logon.

Thank you

I have faced this :
Here is a check list
1) SAP Gateway service was not connected --> Was able to get hold of the problem, with that
Double-check that the SAP gateway service is running on the server. You can do this by checking the SAP Management Console or using transaction SMGW in the SAP GUI
2) Check your route configuration
3) ADT version is outdated

The reason can be many

1) I have opened SMGW and tried to logon using Eclipse and I see the connection on the transaction.

2) In any other case we can connect to the system and we can telnet the port. 3) I don't think is the problem because I tried on annother pc with updated ADT and it didn't work but it could connecct ot the system via gui

For point 1 i noticed that when i try to connect, in SMGW i see an user field in which i see an user different from the one I am using to logon on the system using Eclipse. Is it correct?
