Error Calling Adobe Service API BTP Destination in sapui5 app

Hello experts,

I am getting an error while trying to call the ADS destination in BTP. It gives 403 Forbidden error when I run the SAP Managed App Router app deployed in BTP and If I run it in BAS, I get 500 internal error. The service is called in Postman just fine.

I have attached the screen shots of my set up and error. Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Hi,

I would be surprised that a system would allow you to make a HTTP POST request without first doing a fetch/get to retrieve the appropriate x headers.

Also, your destination is not an odata service endpoint so the property webideusage can be removed.

If you are also going across different subaccounts or regions and have applied xsuaa, then it might be worth considering these improvements;

You can also try to validate your destination independent of Business Application Studio or Postman by generating a dynamic destination URL using the following steps;

This will allow you to at least call a HTTP GET to validate if everything is working. If there are no supported GET calls, then use the developers tab in your browser to retrieve the curl command for the GET request and manipulate it to use a HTTP fetch instead.

Last, depending on your approuter type, ensure the oauth configuration is setup correctly, you may need to extend the scope of the supported endpoints;
