I am facing a 407 Proxy Authentication Required error when connecting my SAP CAP application to ECC via an On-Premise Destination in SAP BTP. Strangely, this issue occurs only in the production subaccount, while the connection works fine in dev, QAS, and pre-production subaccounts.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or resolve it?

Request clarification before answering.
We found the root cause of the 407 error when connecting to SAP ECC. The issue was caused by a load balancing misconfiguration in the Cloud Connector.

Hi @fabi2295,
We are also facing similar kind of issue. We face this issue intermittently and 95% of the times the API runs fine. But sometimes it ends up giving this kind of error.
Could you please help us by sharing - what exactly was the fix which you did for this? Or where can we find this issue cloud connector?
Because I am not sure of the root cause.
Kind Regards,
Abhijeet
Hi @abranjan,
We faced a similar issue, and after investigating, SAP provided us with the following note as a solution, which worked for us:
SAP Note 3317801 - Connecting to Message Server of ASCS instance for HTTP load balancing https://me.sap.com/notes/3317801/E
You might want to check if this applies to your scenario as well.
