Entity type BP_CUSGEN is not contained in data model BP

When creating change request via MDG-S we get the error message Entity "type BP_CUSGEN is not contained in data model BP".

  • It's still possible to use the MDG-S Change Request to create and change suppliers.
  • This happened after a system upgrade.
  • MDG-C isn't active and we don't plan to activate it.

How to solve this error message so that we don't get it anymore?

Hi patrick.c.,

I'd recommend you to check if the activation of the Business Functions you mentioned (especially MDG_ERP_SUPPLIER_12) was successful or not.

Use transaction SFW_BROWSER for this: first validate the activation status using the "check" button associated to every single Business Function and then - in case of error - drill down to identify the entries requiring a manual intervention.

Finally, you can manually reactivate the data model BP from MDGIMG.

BR,

R.

Hi riccardo.brogi,

assuming that the activation check is "green" for all Business Functions and I don't have the entity in a data model (neither inactive nor active):

What's my next option to check?
