End of support SAP Netweaver 7.40

Hello, 

I have a Netweaver 7.40 abap stack used for BW purpose and i'm wondering about the support end date

When i look at the PAM, and related note  :  1648480 - Maintenance pour le progiciel SAP Business Suite 7, y compris SAP NetWeaver - SAP for Me, i understand that that my SAP instance abap stack BW 7.40 is maintained until 2027.

But with this additional note  :  2741041 - Maintenance pour SAP NetWeaver 7.X Business Warehouse - SAP for Me, i'm a bit lost. Could you confirm me this one explains that maintenance support is not extended when you run a dual stack ?  If i am running a BW abap stack, i'm not concerned and covered by extended maintenance ?

Regarding the second note, SAP no longer support dual stacks and this note in particular is about the JAVA stack.

Currently, SAP only supports JAVA stack 7.50. But it supports Netweaver ABAP 7.40 until 2027.

SAP BW as "embedded data warehouse" has EOM in 2027 because it is part of the SAP Business Suite therefore it follows the EOM for SAP Business Suite. However, the standalone version of SAP BW follows a different maintenance strategy, i.e., SAP BW 7.4 EOM is 2020.

Very good, summarized information!

I'm wondering what will happen in S/4HANA the next years.

Currently, they count the BW 7.50 up, and in Rel. 2023 we are at BW 7.58 included.

Will it stop with 7.59 or continue with 7.60? 🤔
