End of maintenance / support for CUA?

Hi Team,

Can you please confirm if IDM is going to replace CUA in its entirety and support for CUA will be stopped going further? If so, is there any date for end of support / maintenance for CUA? If not, can we still use CUA and get support from SAP if required.

ABAP Central User Administration (CUA) is part of the standard product delivery and there are no plans to sunset it.
Therefore support will be provided for CUA as it will be for S/4HANA (on-premise and Private Cloud) in its entirety.
However, we do not plan to enhance CUA with new features.

As you might have noticed we have even downported a new feature for supporting the “Global User ID” also in older releases, incl. support for CUA.

SAP Note 3003462 describes the adoptions for the on-Premise releases 1809 (7.53) SP8, 1909 (7.54) SP6, 2020 (7.55) SP4 and 2021 (7.56) SP1.
