Hello Experts,

I need to add a navigation attribute in a Query.

The navigation attribute in not turned on in the multiprovider.

there are 2 DSO and a Infoset under the multiprovider.

In that 2 DSO the navigation attribute is present but it is not turned on.

Do I need to turn on the nagivation attribute in the DSo and then in the multiprovider?

Or if I only turn on the navigation attribute in the mutoprovider that is enough??

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Ipsita

Hi Ipsita,

If you want your navigation attributes to be available on the data coming from your 3 sources, you have to activate it on your 3 sources and on the multiPro.

Hello Frederic,

The main characteristic is identified(assigned )from 2 DSO only to the multiprovider.

So I think if I only enable navigation attribute in 2 DSO that is enouth.

(can you also let me know how to enable navigation attribute in Info-set.

I per my knowledge , navigation attribute we can not enabled in Infoset, we need to join with that characteristics(main infoobject).

But in my case we have not done join with main Info-object in the Infoset.)

Thanks,

Hi Ipsita

If your DSOs are advanced DSOs (ADSO) then you don't need to switch on navigational attributes. If not you should look into converting to ADSOs and converting your multiprovider to composite provider. It will pay off...
