Hi Dermot,
I can not access the url: https://i7p.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/2376079
By the way, SAP HANA One on AliCloud, I have no user to access notes. How should I do?
Hello,
Can you try to simply activate it again by manually setting the value to true again? Alternatively, execute the SQL command:
alter system alter configuration('nameserver.ini','SYSTEM') SET ('statisticsserver','active') = 'true' with reconfigure
As already stated by my colleagues, there is a known issue with SPS12.
In case it still does not start afterwards, can you please attach the nameserver tracefile contents (not the alert but regular trace file)? In there we should see why the exact reason why the embedded statisticsserver fails to start.
Best regards,
Michael
Hi Michael,
I execute the SQL command, the embedded statisticsserver does not work yet. The attached file is the nameserver trace file contents. Please review it.
Thanks.
Regards.
Zhang
Hello,
the nameserver tracefile doesn't show any errors. Let's continue with the one from the indexserver where the Collector Thread runs, can you upload the latest one (showing a database restart)? In addition you may could check whether:
1) The service was completely removed after the migration:
select * from sys.m_services where service_name='statisticsserver'
2) The volume has been remoted:
select * from sys.m_volumes where service_name = 'statisticsserver'
3) All collectors & checks are running:
select * from _sys_statistics.statistics_schedule where status != 'Inactive'
Best regards,
Michael
Hello,
The following three screenshots are SQL results:
