Edit button Disabled in Business Configuration app in TEST and PROD system

Hi,
As per the tutorial provided by SAP to create a Business Configuration Application on top of the custom table was created and published successfully in the Customizing and Development tenants of the 3 - System Landscape of SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Public Edition.

When the create Business configuration application is opened in the Customizing / Development tenants, the Edit button is enabled and it is possible to add or delete records into the table and save them in a customizing request.

When this BC application is transported to the TEST and PROD systems by releasing the Workbench Transport from Eclipse and the Customizing Transport from the cloud the data and the table are available as expected in the TEST and PROD system.
But the Edit button is disabled in the TEST and PROD system.

As per the reference from the blog https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blogs-by-sap/how-to-create-a-rap-bo-to-change-the-content-of... it is clearly mentioned that the TEST and PROD systems are not made for customizing.

How can we make this edit button enabled in TEST and PROD systems? As whenever there is a change in data the user has to make changes in CUST system and capture them in a Customizing Transport and then export that transport to the next systems which in long run is not advisable.

As per the community blog mentioned above, where can we find the setting for adaptable in production to make the changes?

If you use the ADT wizard, you can specify the name of the generated transport object (R3TR TOBJ) in the "BC Management" section. In ADT you can find the generated transport object in the target package under the group "Others". By default, it has the same name as the BC maintenance object (R3TR SMBC). You can also find the name of the transport object in the generated behavior implementation class.
In SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, you can edit the generated transport object in transaction SOBJ.

In S4 HANA Public Cloud 

Therefore, if the parameter "adaptable in production" is set to false, the user will not be able to edit the configuration even if he/she has the required authorization. If set to true, the user can edit the configuration. 

Where exactly this will be available to configure ? is there any specific application ? If so kindly let us know the same.

"Adaptable in Production" is an attribute of the transport object. You can edit them using ABAP Development Tools, see also my last comment.

I recommend using the ADT wizard to create such an app with the "No Transport" option.

Hi, I don't seem to hove the option to choose "No Transport" in the wizard. Is that because I am not in the Cloud?
