Dynamic Tiles in Fiori Launchpad with dedicated Gateway system

Hello All,

We are on SAP NetWeaver 7.40 portal and using Fiori Launchpad as entry point. We have a dedicated SAP NetWeaver Gateway system in the landscape and using it as Hub system. We have UI5 applications in the gateway hub system. We integrated these UI5 applications into Fiori Launchpad by creating UI5 iViews in the portal.

We wanted to use dynamic tiles functionality. When we use absolute URL of the OData Service on Gateway system (since portal and gateway systems are different), We are getting the following error.

XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://***/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_CRS_APP_SRV/locations/$count.

Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

Origin 'https://***' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 401.

What is the strategy for using dynamic tiles functionality when using dedicate gateway landscape with portal? Is Remote Content is the way to go?

I'm not real clear on how you are trying to do it.  Do you have a web dispatcher setup for your portal and backend Gateway server to handle the clickjacking protection in the Fiori Launchpad?

And if you do, are you using the web dispatcher host in the Service URL in the iView?

Is your iView based on the Fiori iView template?
