I would like to know if there is an option to insert a routine into "Number of requests that you do not want to collapse" in order to set this value dynamically.

We are retracting request from an Infocube to another BW System. We would like to collapse only retracted request.

what would be the logic you want to implement?

is stead of putting the restriction you need in the variant of the process step, you can put it in as a abap step in the process chain before the collapse step. hence you can decide to do the collapse or not...
