Dynamic filters for Webi Scheduler (or in general)

Hi all,

I have one WEBI Report based on one BEx Query. Now I want to schedule the report by chosing , e.g. Current Month Variable or Last Month variable, etc. It means that I would like to pre-define Webi variables which can be used in Webi reports and in Scheduler for same report and of course same underlying Bex Query.

Also I would expect that the variable for the webi report is passed to the BEx query to get only these data accordingly.

I tried to follow an old thread

https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/1684514,

but there was not any solution provided, except that for each data set a new Bex Query should be build. But this is not the intention.

Is there any Option to define reusable variables in Webi which can restrict the Bex query as well?

Ralf

You have to restrict data in the BEx queries through customer exits for current month/last monthr values. You can not use the Report level variables in the scheduling to restrict the data.

Hi,

and no, then I would need to duplicate either all key figures or all queries for each possible filter.
I want to have one "open" query and chose filter in Webi.

What is a Report Level variable, you can chose only bex prompts for scheduling , rigth?

Or do i miss something?

You have only option to use customer exits in the BEx queries if you want to schedule the report based on current date/current month/last month etc..

It's you wish if you want to share details or not.For your information there is no button for to mark completely not answered.

Good luck!!
