Hi experts and fellow learner,
I want to create a dynamic Actual/Plan report (not planning enabled). The desired output looks like forecast layout (but doesn't have to be a forecast layout as long as the period ranges of each version can be dynamically displayed) as below.
For example:
Within a year, Jan - July is displayed in Actual Version, Aug - Dec is in Plan Version.
As a side note, I'll consume the data from Datasphere Live Model (Analytic model - Live) instead of Import/Standalone Model.
Here's my concern which leads to the question whether this is achievable or not:
When I try to consume the data of DSP analytic (Live) model in SAC story, I don't see any option to filter member by range in the builder pane (as opposed to import model). As far as I understand, this is required in order to select the "current date" - which acts as "Actual Cut-Over Date" and can be selected on the fly. Which leads to question, is there any limitation data consumption in story of DSP Live Data Model in regards to this?
Is there any workable solution to achieve the desired output? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
Request clarification before answering.
I have come to conclusion that for this case, table created based on live data model can be achieved using variables on top of DS model
