RAISE_SHORTDUMP (/BOBF/CX_FRW_FATAL) during SYCM project validation – RFC system failure in destination ZCA100WILP3PWN3IP5BLH33WRVHQCATM

Hello Experts,

I’m facing a runtime error while executing an OData operation related to SYCM/ATC project validation.

Error Details:
- Runtime Error: RAISE_SHORTDUMP
- Exception: /BOBF/CX_FRW_FATAL
- Business Object: SYCM_APS_I_PROJECT
- Application Component: BC-DWB-TOO-ATF
- Message: “Sys failure in dest. ZCA100WILP3PWN3IP5BLH33WRVHQCATM”

ST22 Analysis:
The dump indicates that the BOPF framework raised a short dump due to a fatal error in the class `CL_SCA_DS_REMOTE_CONNECTION` during validation (`VALIDATE_PROJECT`).
Root cause seems to be an RFC system failure when calling the remote destination above.

What I’ve checked so far:
- Confirmed that this happens during a SYCM/ATC project validation (possibly remote check configuration).
- I've checked RFC connection via SM59 and it's working.
- OData error log (ST22) shows the same failure message.
- Suspect the RFC destination or remote ATC system is unavailable or misconfigured.

Questions:
1. What is the recommended way to validate or correct the SYCM/ATC remote connection setup for SYCM_APS_I_PROJECT?
2. Is there a standard configuration path or report to test the connection used by SYCM validation?
3. Could this be caused by an inactive or obsolete ATC remote system configuration, and if so, where should that be maintained?
4. Are there known SAP Notes or corrections related to `/BOBF/CX_FRW_FATAL` in SYCM or ATC validation contexts?

Any guidance or experiences resolving this type of RFC failure in SYCM project validation would be greatly appreciated!
