Experts,
We have recently migrated our ORACLE DB from 12.2 to 19C. Soon after the upgrade we have started seeing deadlock errors while the DSO load requests are getting activated through process chains in the nightly batch.
From, applications/DSOs side no changes were made. Also, it is occurring with multiple DSOs.
We have tried several things with the help of BASIS, indexes rebuild, re-org of table etc. We have also played around with package size, number and types processes, no progress.
Our DTP package size is 50K, where as activation package size is 20K. Does this causing for distributing related records into two different packages and are enforcing the deadlock. If so, why was it not happening in Oracle 12.2?
Please advise if anyone had encountered the similar issue and possible solutions?
Best Regards,
Nanda.
