Downloading manual test case

Hello Team

We have recorded manual test case in Cloud ALM with screenshots against each step. We want to download the test script with steps / screenshots / run date etc. we dont see an option. Any clue how to do it

Hi AJay,

In SAP Cloud ALM, you can export your test cases in a CSV format. To do this, you can navigate to the "Test Management" tab, select the test cases you want to export, and then click on the "Export" button on the top right corner of the screen. This will download a CSV file that contains the test case details, including steps, screenshots, and run date.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Test Case Builder" feature of SAP Cloud ALM, to export the test cases in a Microsoft Word format, that way you will have the steps, screenshots and the date in the same format as it appears in the ALM.

It is also possible to use the Test Case Export feature available in the Test Management work center in SAP Cloud ALM to export test cases in a Microsoft Excel format.

Here are the steps to create an Excel Report of Test Cases with Steps:

1-Click on Dashboard->Analysis View.

2-Click on + and New Excel Report,enter Report Name.

3-If entered as Test with Design Steps.

4-Click on Query Builder and using fields in Test & Design Step create Query,click OK.

5-Click Generation Settings.

Hello, I have been searching for a way to export test scripts/cases to word/PDF and this is the closest I have found to the answer, however I cannot find "Test Case Builder" in Cloud ALM as mentioned in the above comment. My client has requested a readable version of the test scripts offline so they can share with stakeholders for their review ahead of our next testing cycle, hence why I need the scripts in word/PDF format.

Could you please provide further details on how to export to word? I can only seem to export to excel with HTML markup.

Might be, that you mix up SAP Solution Manager (where you can find the Apps: "Test Case Builder" and "Test Management"). Here, the question was about SAP Cloud ALM. As far as I know, there is an [Import] (top right corner) Feature in the "Test Preperation" App. Export does not exist so far, does it?
