Does HTTP protocol mandatory for SAP PO

Hi Expert,

Now our basis provide a PO 7.5 system with only HTTPS connection (https://ip:50001/nwa). When i do the system initialization, there is an error in SLD content creation. For system use http port 50000 to connect to SLD. After i finished the initialization, i find only http connection to ESR and ID in /dir/start/ page. So ESR and ID cannot opened.

My question: does it mandatory to use http protocol in PO? any document describe it?

Hi

By default any PO/PO system supposed to access through http

https will be enabled explicitly.Report the issue to your basis team.
