DM Deprecated Services in Production Processes

Hi experts,

does anyone know what happens with services in Digital Manufacturing when they are deprecated?

Will a production process in which such a service is used continue to work even if the service is not synchronized/updated? Or will deprecated services be deleted at some point and the production process will no longer work without adaptation?

Deprecated APIs are normally still usable up to 12 months after deprecation. However, there are certain cases were APIs are decommissioned even before this period. In general, I would highly recommend replacing them sooner than later. Also read the release notes carefully if the decommissioning is mentioned, also in the API Hub change log you normally find the deprecation release to calculate the decommissioning release.
