Distribute the Monthly data across days in Datasphere..

Hi ,i have one file which is having the Values by Months ( data at the end of each month) . i need distribute these values by Days for each month ( as show in Output). how to achieve this in Datasphere Graphical View.

Hi @SKSKumar 

You can achieve this by using the standard Time dimension views i.e 

Time Dimension - Day (if this is not available, generate them from your space).

Step 1: Create a view consuming your table (contents from the file), extract month and year using calculated columns.

Step2: Create a view consuming Time Dimension - Day, which will have date, create a calculated column to get the number of days in each month also extract year from the date.

Step 3: Create a third view consuming the above two views, join them using the month and year fields.

create a calculated column BudgeByMonth = Budget divded by NoOfDaysInMonth

Just a thought.. It’s not simple in the Datasphere system, but achieving these kind of Requirements very easy and straightforward in SAP BW...
