Display PDF File in new browser tab in RAP application

Hello everyone,

I have a Fiori-elements App - (List Report). And I wanted to display a PDF-File in a new tab via an action button.

The PDF is generate from adobe forms and is in XSTRING var. The PDF file is dynamic depending on the report row.

Is there anyway to open a pdf file from the app in a new tab ?

Hi,

I think this is only possible with an extension. Then you can implement your own handler for your action. I have implemented a similar requirement (own action with a custom tab) with an extension.
