Disambiguation of different SQL Anywhere editions

We need to advise our new clients about which SQL Anywhere 17 edition to get. We have a PB application, and we will need to install SQL Anywhere 17 only on one Windows server, but to set it up with 4 or 5 different database environments. So, most important factors are:

  1. Server installed on one PC only
  2. dbsrv17.exe will be used to create 4 to 5 (possibly more in future) network database services
  3. Users will connect via the PB application to the database through ODBCs

What is most important is that there is either a no limit to database connections (each logged in user is 3 database connections, and there will be between 40 and 50 users), or a fairly high limit (200 perhaps, to make sure if the system grows). Does the Edge Edition provide this? On the website it quotes

Edge Edition Entry-level version of SQL Anywhere 17. Per named users or per core licenses (4 or 8 cores only) are available

Does that mean that we could go for Edge 4 or 8 cores licence, which limits the number of cores to be used, but unlimited number of database connections?

Out of all additional features we would only require Mobilink, perhaps in future.

Thanks
