How can we disable the automatic disaggreagtion of Plan Data in SAC?
I am not aware of any functionality that will disable it from a model level. In a particular table within a story you can elect to do one of the following:
1. For a particular dimension in the builder, select ... > Hierarchy > "Show only leaves in widget" (this option will not render any parent nodes on the table, thus no input)
2. In styling, create a styling rule selected on parents and make Read-only Setting "Read-only" vs. "Editable"

Hi Jay,
We are trying to build a overhead template with planning at Expense GL level. We want the overheads to aggregated bottom up but we don't want the system to disaggregate in case of any node level input, Similar to BPC.
We are figuring out the way to lock/format lock the node level members except the base members to avoid that but we cannot hide the node level members.
Thanks.

Hi there,
What is your use case that you're t trying to achieve?
In general, disaggregation is a feature of SAC and it cannot be disabled natively.
Depending on your use case there are other things you could do, however.
For example, you can hide parent members within Stories so that users would not accidentally store values in parent members.
Similarly you could use styling rules to lock parent members so users could view them, however, not store data on them.
