Dimension table -- time for its creation

Hi,

While deleting the info cube records i had mistakenly deleted the dimension tables as well in production system as there was an requiement to correct the data incosistenices in the report!!!

i had now started fresh upload but the time taken for completion of the process is too high!!

It not completed as yet!!

How much time does the creation of dimension tables takes for an infocube of the request which has 180 thousands of records and has 7 dimensions ( four customized and the rest standard )

Hi,

To load 180 thousands of records and all it doesn't take much time as you worried, please check whether you have dropped the Indexes of the InfoCube before you start loading the data.

You cann't load data seperately for dimension tables.

Please check whether there are complex routines in the transformation or reading of Master data attributes for the many fields. Check for the ABAP runtime errors, deadlocks, ect....
