Hi dears,
I have faced a strange issue when we upgrade our DI 11.5 version to DS 12.2 version.
Our job service is running on HP-UX IA 64bit machine with 16 GB of RAM.
Before upgrade, the batch jobs can run successfully without any error.
However, after upgrade, we get some error messages that say System resources are not enough.
Data flow <DF_xxx> received a bad system message. Message text from the child process is <blank
message, possibly due to insufficient memory==========================================================
Please collect the following and send to Customer Support:
1. Log files(error_, monitor_, trace_*) associated with this failed job.
2. Exported Atl file of this failed job.
3. DDL statements of tables referenced in this failed job.
4. Data to populate the tables referenced in the failed job. If not possible, get the last few rows (or sample of them) when
the job failed.
5. Core dump, if any, generated from this failed job.
==========================================================
What will be the cause of this error?
Because when you upgrade your software, you expect performance improvement about the memory management..
thanks a lot

Request clarification before answering.
Is there table comparison, data transfer, parallel precessing, or run as a separate process enabled on the job?
Does this occur when processing large loads? Or any size load?

Hi Kevin,
Thx for the reply..
Yes, there table comparison and parallel processing. and also, the volume of the data is huge.
I mean, some of the tables has 130 million row records. It occurs when processing large loads.
the strange thing at this point is; within old version there is no problem. The flows are the same..
thx
omer
