When assigning a support team to an incident, one can choose a support team that has been deleted from the support organization.
I believe this is possible because the business partner associated with the obsolete support organization is still valid, even though it has been flagged for deletion. How can the obsolete support organization and the unwanted business partner be removed from the selection list for assigning partners?
Request clarification before answering.
You may mark the Business Partner with the flag "central lock" in the status tab in transaction BP. That should prevent it from being searchable.
On the other hand, you may just archive or delete the Business Partner.
