DEBMAS and creration of contact person

Hi,

Does anyone know if DEBMAS is capable of creating new contact persons for business partner? I have been struggling with creation, update works fine.

I receive error "Enter a value for field Last Name of Business Partner (Person)" (R11401) and I know that it could be disabled via customization. But customer does not allow that.

How should I fill in the E1KNVKM?

With the DEBMAS IDoc, you can update contact persons, but creating new ones especially in S/4HANA with the Business Partner model is not reliable. If you try to create a new contact, you'll most likely get error R11401 "Last Name is required", since the last name is mandatory for person-type business partners. This requirement can't be disabled if the customer restricts customization.
