Dead Line Monitoring - Not Working for SAP Workflow

Hi Experts,

I have issue in custom workflow.

I have to send Escalation message for every 5 minutes for 4 times.

First Two Escalation messages are triggering with 5 minutes difference, but third and fourth are triggering immediately with no time gap even Requested Start is set for next 5 minutes.

Kindly let me know if any inputs.

Check the batch job SWWCOND and SWWDHEX . How frequently it is scheduled.

Hi Rob,

Dead Line for Next Message activity gets the Date and Time of Next Message, Hold for Next Dead Line is WAIT Condition. Screen shots below for reference.

WAIT Condition is working for two cases, but in other two cases WAIT Condition is not working and immediately mail is triggering.

Hi Rob,

It is not modeled. In Requested Start of WAIT Step Expression is used.

Date and Time of next message are obtained from a business object method.

Check the interval of job SWWDHEX.

Also how are you triggering the escalation messages? Is it modeled? You can check the deadline dates in tab DeadlneData in the technical view of a workitem.

Interval of job SWWDHEX is 3 minutes.

Yes, it is modeled.

Dead line date and time is correct but for two scenarios mails are triggering one after the other immediately instead of gap of 5 minutes.

Please let me know if any ideas.
