Hi Experts,
We have 3 rd party applications in azure cloud which feeds a custom table in a DB2 database. Same custom table will be synced to my ECC Db2 using federated database setup. After the sync, my ECC abap programs will use the table from the DB2 ECC server. Now we need to convert ECC to s4 in to RISE and any suggestions on how these DB2 federation can be included in the solution.
Note- We dont want any changes in the 3rd party storing methods in to staging DB.
1- in general the interfaces can be managed through pi/po/CPI in RISE. Can CPI or PI/po solutions can manage the staging Table records to sync wth S4 HANA?
2- Moving the legacy systems in to BTP services, - Very Tier some process as all the 3rd party systems need changes and no time to do this now.
3. can RISE support direct JDBC connection from onprem staging DB2 to RISE S4 HANA?
4- Can staging DB data can be synced with S/4 HANA using SLT?
5- Any other ways to manage this complex interfaces??
Please advise.
Rgds,
Karthik
