DB13 Jobs are Failing and Brconnect does not work

Hello Everyone,

We have a 4.6C system running on AIX with Oracle DB and we upgraded the DB from 9.2.0.7 to 10.2.0.2 and i noticed that brconnect is not working for sidadm but it works for orasid...I have checked permissions for brconnect in exe directory and they are set correctly...and i followed a SAP note where it tells to download the sapdba_role .. Note Num 134592.. but still no luck.. When i execute Brconnect it comes back with this following error

Has anyone come across this error.

Please check if $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle has the correct permissions.

Hello Markus...

Thank you for the Solution now Brconnect is working fine..

This was the solution

I checked permissions in /oracle/SID/102_64/bin/oracle and had to change the permissons of oracle to

-rwsr-s--x 1 orasid dba Jul 31 02:10 oracle
