Date range input control - SAC optimized Story

I'm asking again because my previous post seems to have missed.

I want to create a date-range input control I have in the "classic story" but doesn't seem to work in the optimized view.

that's how I created the date input control:

that's the result I need (a line range) in classic story:

However, I cannot reproduce it (or convert it) in the optimized view:

How can I do it?

Hello @Deb_D,

It works the same for me in classic and optimized design mode. I don't get a slider using the time filter options in the bottom of an input control (like in your screenshot). But I get one selecting the time dimension I want to use (e.g. Calendar Day):

Hello @Lothar_Koeder, thank you for your answer! My concern is that I tried to create a "YTD current year" and "YTD previous year" in the same slider (as it worked for me in the classic story). I'm afraid that the "calendar day" won't give me this flexibility.
