Date in odata service for SAP Analytics Cloud

Hi,

we have created a very simple odata service in a S/4 HANA System showing some deliveries.

There are some fields representing dates like delivery date etc.

All these date fields are mapped to edm.Datetimeo format.

In SAP Analytics cloud we created a model based on a connection to this service (S/4 HANA type).

Now when creating the model, the dates are shown as date field and assigned to dimension.

The problem is: We want to use the dates in a time series chart, but the dates are not showing in the selection. Also when using a normal chart , the x axis cannot be sorted correctly according to date.

What are we missing ? How could the dates be made recognizable as "date" ?

how are you connecting to this S/4 content - Are you doing "Import data from OData service" or "Live data from S/4"?
