DataSource Unavailable

For InfoObject 0CRM_USSTAT, I had two datasources available, 0CRM_USSTAT_TXT, which I was using, and 0CRM_USERSTATUS_TEXT, which I now want to use instead.

I have deleted the source system assignment and I am now trying to use the other DataSource. However, only 0CRM_USSTAT_TXT is available now. I have activated the 0CRM_USERSTATUS_TEXT datasource in the CRM system and replicated the datasources in BW, but when I try and assign the datasource to my infoobject only 0CRM_USSTAT_TXT is available.

Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

hi,

try in awb, source system, right click your source system crm and with cursor position in 0CRM_USERSTATUS_TEXT, check if the symbol is '-' and click the button and choose 0CRM_USSTAT for infosource, if the symbol is '+' means the datasource has been assigned to infosource in bw and cannot be assigned to other infosource.

I managed to sort it out myself.

I have assigned points though, as the second reply was exactly what I had already done.

Hi Stuart,

You cannot have two Text datasources for the same InfoObject. I think '0CRM_USSTAT_TXT' is the correct one.
