BH Hi, i'm setting up SQL Anywhere database mirroring. I have two Windows Server 2008 R2 machines (will be used as srv1 and srv2) and a Windows Server 2003 Machine (will be used as arbiter). When i install Sybase SQL anywhere 16 on the Windows Server 2003 machine, it doesn't install the dbsrv16.exe file. Also it doesn't give me 64bit component options during the installation. What am i doing wrong? Thanks so much for your help. Aron
Request clarification before answering.
When you install SQL Anywhere on the Windows Server 2003 machine, are you providing the full server license key, a network seat key, or a high availability add-on key?
Installing with the network seat key or high availability add-on key will not install the dbrv16 executable necessary to run the arbiter.
This (PDF) document describes the conditions under which you may install "an additional SQL Anywhere server on another Machine to act as the arbiter server".
