Does anyone know what the above error refers to? I do have backups being successful in the messages.

What product is this occurring? For SQL Anywhere, the error codes for command line tools are found in %sqlany17%\SDK\include\sqldef.h starting at line 51.

This is happening for SQL SAP Anywhere 17. From the file you suggested exit code 2 refers to /* invalid file format, etc.*/ .
