Data import of Local Currency only in the measure based model in SAC Analytical Cloud

Hello Folks,

Heed your expertise with the below query in new measure based model.

Requirement: Users have to collect the Actuals data with both Local Currency and Group Currency  and Plan data is to be collected at Local Currency and that gets converted to Group Currency using conversion mechanism in the SAC

Model defined: Owing to the given requirement , We have created 2 Measure in the Model(New Model) Called LC and GC. We are able to upload the LC and GC in the actual Version, But when we tried to load the plan data containing only LC value through flat file, it is asking us to even map the GC measure and due to which it is throwing an error called" This model required all the measure to be mapped" not allowing us to load the data.

Query:

Is this behavior is by design or it is something influence due to some setting?

If this is by design, then SAC restricting the users to load the selected measure (Either LC or GC or Quantity) making an restricting on the process normally allowing different users to load different type of measure.

it's depending on how you define your upload job. Simple way would be have to different upload job, one for actual(two measures) and one for plan( one measure). Or you can also create an empty column in upload file for plan data which can be mapped to GC.

Hi @William_Yu1 , Loading the one measure only for Plan is not allowing in the system and throwing and error that" This Model requires you to map all the measure" 

I was just wondering if that is the case and model has around 10 measure. it would be odd to keep 9 measures in column as empty and filled with one measure.

Note: Please note that this is flat load.

This UI is not common. So it's new model on NEO tenant, right? In this case, can you just create additional empty column and map it to GC.
