Dashboard for daily Basis monitoring

I would like to create a dashboard for the daily monitoring activities such as dumps, system errors and failed jobs, I have tried creating the same in the OCC dashboard of focused insight. But I am not getting the values as expected. For example number of short dumps for today will give correct value, but if wanted to view the dumps for 2 days or yesterday the given value is wrong like rational value(I am using system monitoring as data provider and metric name as ABAP_SYS_SHORT_DUMPS_TODAY).
