Hi,
I am trying to a create a query based on universe and use in dashboard design,
In query browser when i click add query using admin account it is working fine,
but when i use any other user which is not part from admin account it is not able to connect to universes,
the rights i gave are ,
full control on dashboard design in applications
full control to connection
full control to universes
is there any other i am missing to give rights ,
i thought of attaching the screenshot of error message, but i did not find any attach file option here,
so error message is

Hi Pradeep:
My case is worse. The Administrator users can't create the query. It can see the structure from the Universe but can't preview the data. If I click the data preview button, it will give me the same error message in Dashboard. I did check the webservice in the CMC application. The Aministrator group has the correct privelige. Do you know how to solve my problem?
Thanks!
Jordan
I created my own unx using HANA JDBC connector. It accesses one activiated attribute view. I tested the query design in IDT. It works fine but does not work in dashboard. The error message is shown after I click on the Add Query button and log into the BOE server. Any suggestions to solve this problem?
ok i am not sure about HANA JDBC connector,
But few data sources based unx can not be used in dashboard design,
for example efashion.unx and greenplum based unx,
i have a ticket for the same ,still i did not hear from them.
one more thing if there are many Views in your universe you will see only the first view in the list when connecting through dashboard.
