Custom objects in filter bar

Hi, I am extracting data from an excel sheet to make a SAP web intelligence report. I want to add filters in the report using the filter bar. The available objects to add are only the columns present in the source excel sheet.

Is there a way I can add custom objects or make a custom filter by grouping some columns ?

Hi,

There is no option during the query design. But, you can do the same thing with the Filter bar.

1) Create a variable with a combination of desired dimensions

2) Go to Reading view and click on the Filter bar

3) Add the newly created variable to filter the Data
